About this property
Located in the Village of Somerset in a highly visible, prime location right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, this exceptional commercial property is a true architectural gem offering character, craftsmanship, versatility, and income-producing potential. Originally constructed around the turn of the century, the building was extensively renovated approximately a decade ago and transformed into one of Somerset's most distinctive and beautifully maintained commercial properties. Throughout the building, meticulous attention to detail is evident, from the wide-plank wood flooring & thoughtfully designed commercial kitchen to updated plumbing and electrical systems, an Ansul fire-suppression system, and firewalls. The exterior combines timeless charm with lasting durability, featuring a metal roof with brick & cement-board siding. The main commercial space offers generous dining & gathering areas with seating for approximately 60 patrons, two restrooms, and a versatile upper-level room ideal for private parties, meetings, special events, or additional business space. Outside, a spacious parking area accommodates 10+ vehicles, while the beautifully landscaped patio provides an inviting setting for outdoor dining & entertaining. Adding even more value is an approximately 1,100 sf. apartment, also remodeled and exceptionally well maintained. The apt features one bedroom, a full bathroom, laundry/mudroom, eat-in kitchen, and spacious living room with built-ins, along with its own private entrance and separate rear parking. Currently occupied by a long-standing tenant who takes excellent care of the property, the apartment provides an established source of rental income. With its combination of commercial space, residential income, ample parking, outdoor entertaining area, and prominent location, this well-rounded property offers tremendous possibilities for a restaurant, café, retail or professional venture, event space, investment property or other commercial use.
